WINERY MARKUS ALTENBURGER

With a lot of personal commitment and feeling, Markus Altenburger has made the winery into an internationally recognized and one of the most exciting businesses on the Leithaberg within just a few years. A clear focus on low-intervention vinification in combination with grapes from the typical slate and Leitha limestone soils in Jois makes his style unmistakable. The winery's flagship red wines consist of Blaufränkisch: the puristic single-vineyard wines from old vines in the Jungsberg and Gritschenberg vineyards are only produced in the best vintages and in small quantities. When it comes to white wine, the Altenburgers primarily focus on Chardonnay, Grüner Veltliner and Neuburger.

Your Negroni will be tailor-made in front of you, ensuring that the finished drink matches your preference: first you'll be presented with the choice of three different essences, before your drink is individually garnished and placed on a silver platter.
